Presentation from the 2012 Union for Democratic Communications conference, Tallahassee FL – Mapping the Cultrual Impact of Video Games

At this year’s Union for Democratic Communications, I’ve been asked to participate in a roundtable on war and the media. It’s been awhile since I wrote specifically about video games and war, but thinking about the path of my research over the last few years, there’s a thread there that teases out some ideas which aren’t so much new as presently ignored in the study of video games.

The following is my Prezi from that event. Any questions or feedback are welcome.
